Anyone got an answer to these please: 1. Why is the water tank not emptying fully on either cycle? It gets to abiut a 1/4 - 1/3 full then stops and shows the tank is empty. Is this normal? Feels like a waste of cleaning solution. 2. Why is only the milk frother spout being cleaned, and not the actual thing the coffee comes out of?

Perfect! It worked for my 7 year old ESAM3300 model as well. The noise I heard was different - not the high pitch noise that you hear in the video, more like a weak pumping sound. I unplugged the machine, turned on the steamer, plugged in and turned it on - water came out of the wand for 39 seconds or so. that was all that was needed. Thank you DeLonghi lady!

Purchased a different grinder at first and it was so frustrating and messy. Went back to my old faithful and remember how much I loved it!! Easy to use/clean, precise measurement, and no mess when pouring into your coffee maker. Highly recommend! Well worth the extra $$.

I have the Delonghi settings on the minimum yet the coffee is way too strong even after many cups. How do I adjust it to make it weaker then ?????

I'm away on holiday and it's the first time I'm using this coffee maker. I didn't really know what to do so I looked up this make on how to use. This video really helped me and I figured it out but would recommend other videos would have more of a tutorial on how to use it.

TIP TIP TIP: Throw the left over water from the descaling in your toilet and leave it there for at least half an hour. Then scrub. This poison goes down the drain anyway so better use it to the max!

My 1 week old ECP35.31 started making a loud buzzing noise with vibration and a delay in delivering water/coffee through the portafilter. I found the water reservoir wasn't fully pushed home - do you think this was the cause? Was a bit scary when it happened! 😮
